Come on October 1 at 3 p.m. to his signing session, learn more about Barry Jarreau and his new book
SLIDELL, LOUISIANA, USA, August 31, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — Barry always had a deep love for animals, as a child in his mind animals could understand him and he could understand them and still does.
Barry once had a pet opossum, he named her Henrietta; then he found out she was a he! Henery worked well. He lives on a sailboat along the coast of Louisiana. Barry can tell you it’s not as glamorous as it sounds. There is just as much work to do.
Barry started writing when he had Chew Chew and Chipper Dog. In the animal world, the higher they sit, the more prominent they are.
Well he was dispatched long before the dog climbed onto my shoulder and then the two started fighting. This is how he had the idea to write a book where they are the best friends in the world.
Our story begins on the Atlantic coast. There are two of my best friends who live in a big house. Chipper thinks he’s an inventor. He does some pretty cool stuff.
In this story, they’re all excited as they’re about to go on a big vacation to the bayous of Louisiana. You will have fun finding the raccoon; it hides in most art. Chew chew and Chippers have the opportunity to sample all kinds of Cajun food and learn about their customs and all about their life in the bayou. We are going to take a swamp tour and see all types of creatures that live in the Louisiana swamps. Then we go on a rockfish fishing trip. There are all kinds of wonderful things to see. By the time you complete this story, you will need to grab a snack. Don’t forget to look for more Chew Chew and Chipper Adventure stories to come. Let’s find out what we can find in our adventure! Who knows, we might even meet that old raccoon!
Barry was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and lived there until 1979, when he joined the United States Coast Guard. It was there that he became addicted to the ocean and boats. Barry owes his overflowing imagination to his father.
Barry now lives on the Louisiana coast on a sailboat. He sails, writes and enjoys painting local wildlife. Barry has a little dog named Boy, but he calls him by his French name, Garcon. They go everywhere together. He gets on the bow of my little boat and we head back to the Bayous to fish, paint and watch out for alligators.
Barry is scheduled for a book signing at the East Baton Rouge Parish Library, Main Branch, Oct. 1 at 3:00 p.m. Join the author there and learn more about him.
