the Midwest Literary Walk returns to Chelsea, Michigan next week after going virtual at the height of the pandemic. Organizers say this year’s lineup is one of the festival’s best to date.
One of the honored authors this year is Don Winslow, an international bestselling author whom Stephen King calls “one of America’s finest storytellers.”

Don Winslow is an internationally bestselling author. Her new novel is titled “city on fire» on sale April 26and. He is one of the featured authors of this year’s Midwest Literary Walk, Saturday, April 23 in Chelsea, Michigan. Winslow has written over 20 novels, many of which focus on crime.
“I think as fiction writers we write about humanity in extremis,” he says. “We get to see people at their worst and at their best, and in dramatic moments, and that’s appealing to a writer.”
The Midwest Literary Walk takes place Saturday, April 23 from 1-5 p.m. in person in Chelsea, MI, hosted by the Chelsea District Library. Winslow will appear at 1 p.m. at Main Street Church.
