In our latest podcast, Dave Harries interviews Stroud-based author Sarah Edghill.
Sarah’s latest novel, His other wifewas released earlier this year.
“My beginnings A thousand little disappointments, came out last September, and I was a bundle of nerves before,” Sarah said. “But I was overwhelmed by the support I received, especially from the local community: people I barely knew stopped me in the street to tell me they had read the book. and that they enjoyed it.”
Sarah, from Brownshill, was also invited to take part in the Stroud Book Festival last November by the organiser, Caroline Sanderson: “I loved taking part, especially as I had previously volunteered at the Festival and I had been inspired by the experiences of other authors. It was also great to see my book in stores, such as the Yellow Lighted Bookshop and The Barn Shop in Chalford Hill, where the owner, Clancey, was a one-woman promotional machine.
