International speaker, trainer and author to lead a seminar on customer service

WAUSAU — The Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce will present a special program next month featuring international speaker, trainer and author David K. Aaker, IOM. A Interactive seminar on customer service will take place on the morning of Wednesday, August 31 at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Rothschild from 8:30-10:30 a.m. A networking time will follow the morning session and the program will conclude with an opening luncheon by Aaker.

This workshop is designed to inspire employees to improve their customer service skills to help build and maintain relationships and clientele. Gain an edge over your competitors by making positive changes that will drive growth and help attract and reach customers. Participants will learn from clear and specific examples of customer service, add communication tools that work, examine customer service ethics, and form insights that will keep customers coming back. All of this will be complemented by public participation.

“Whatever your industry, whether it’s business, non-profit, education, or government, great customer service is fundamental to success.” said Chamber President and CEO Dave Eckmann. “Today, more than ever, organizations are looking for competitive advantage. High quality customer service is a strength that organizations can build into their culture. »

Aaker specializes in customer service, leadership and communication. In May 2009, Mr. Aaker was named “one of America’s Greatest Orators” by Sky Radio on American Airlines. He is also the author of two books, “Success Simplified”, an anthology of 24 nationally selected speakers and “50 Unforgettable Speakers”, both published by Insight Publishing.

This program is open to members for $50 and non-members for $75. Visit WausauChamber.com to learn more or to register.
