Ahead of Ram Navami’s auspicious occasion, Discovery+ revisits the sacred geography of one of the world’s greatest stories in Legends of the Ramayana with Amish, a gripping docuseries narrated by award-winning bestselling writer and diplomat, Amish Tripathi . Filled with stunning visuals and unique stories, this series produced by Wide Angle Films unravels the mystery around Lord Ram’s thrilling Ayana (journey), starting April 7, 2022 on Discovery+.

Titled by Amish Tripathi, going digital for the first time, this groundbreaking three-part series travels 5,000 miles, delving deep into ancient stories and myths around the Ramayana, previously unexplored. With impeccable finesse, Amish Tripathi decodes the intriguing information that has continued to exist around the Ramayana for millennia, inspiring faiths, philosophies and ways of life across India and the near abroad. Renowned for writing the Shiva trilogy and the Ram Chandra series, which are respectively the fastest-selling and second best-selling book series in Indian publishing history, the presence of Amish as a storyteller at the screen is sure to leave audiences intrigued.

His journey is enriched with well-researched opinions and expert commentary from guests such as Yatindra Mishra (Prince of Ayodhya), Kavita Kane (author), award-winning hydrogeologist Ritesh Arya, Sunela Jayawardene (environmental architect and author), Krishna Devaraya, descendant, Vijayanagara Dynasty, Shashi Dhanatunge, former Vice President, Civil Aviation Authority, Sri Lanka and many more who add to the authenticity of the series.
