CROW THE BRAVE by Jim Samartino

UNITED STATES, Nov. 2, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — Jim Samartino’s mission sounds simple and noble: to build a community of courage by providing children with a relevant example of how to be brave through an engaging story, a fun board game to accompany reinforce that message, and props to build confidence and assertiveness.

He left well. In fact, the author/entrepreneur/creative mind, under the umbrella of his latest venture Samartino Stories, is launching a new book, CROW THE COURAGEOUS, an interactive story aimed at ages 3-9 that lets kids really participate in the creation and writing. The narrator.

The experience provided in CROW THE COURAGEOUS is different from other children’s books because it encourages user engagement. The reader will become part of the story by writing under their own name to be used as one of the main characters and having them bring the characters to life. This is achieved by using the book as a canvas which only contains background artwork and no character artwork. The reader draws the characters from the book or uses stickers provided on the pages to complete the story.

Children will enjoy the adventure of Crow and his farm friends as they turn an unfortunate situation into an opportunity to overcome their fears and save the day, despite their limitations. Crows, of course, are able to fly, but the protagonist of this story is afraid of flying. The story ends up placing him in a situation that pushes him to overcome his anxiety.

Upon completion of the book and the practical participation of the child, the reader should better understand the relationship between fear and courage while respecting the power of teamwork, the spirit of non-surrender and the pride of be himself.

In addition to the book, there is a family-friendly board game that further reinforces the positive messages of the book. “Crow the Courageous: Badge of Courage” is a cooperative companion game that complements the message shared in the book. One to four players will work together to overcome challenges and save their friends. This game uses basic strategy and supportive gameplay elements to teach young players how to not give up, problem solve, work as a team, use basic math, matching and memory skills, all while learning family fun!

Samartino believes that “trust in children is the cornerstone of a developing mind”. To support this, he offers a “Courage Kit” complete with assertiveness elements to further help build a courageous mindset.

Samartino’s family organization is based on building collaborative projects together and sharing the finished product with the world…and hopefully creating fond memories and fun. How will he do it? This will vary from project to project, but the key will be the development of more children’s books, the active participation of children, and resources and tools to help them create, develop, and grow every step of the way.

Jim Samartino, father of two and living in Hillsborough, NJ, is a creative mind who loves business. Samartino Stories is his most recent and his third private venture. He was previously president of Ninjace LLC, a apparel, video production, and graphic design company. Ninjace merged with Everything Epic, where it spent five years creating board games and developing “EPIC” stories.
