I Put Away comes from the Bible scripture, 1 Corinthians 13:11 (KJV), which says “When I was a child, I [spoke] child, I understood like a child, I thought like a child: but when I became a [adult], I put away the childish things. I Put Away is about me moving from a childish system of speaking, understanding and thinking into an adult system.
