The GhostLight Theater will host auditions for its first-ever Holiday production, Eleanor’s Very Merry Christmas Wish – The MusicalSeptember 24 and 25.
Eleanor’s Very Merry Christmas Wish – The Musical is written and co-produced by Benton Harbor resident Denise McGowan Tracy, with music by Kathleen Butler-Duplessis and McGowan Tracy. The play is based on the children’s book Eleanor’s very merry Christmas wish, also written by Tracy.
The GhostLight production will be directed by Paul Tierney with musical direction by Lisa Otey and choreography by John Marshall. The critically acclaimed world premiere production of Eleanor ran for 39 performances at Chicago’s Greenhouse Theater in 2019.
In a statement, the theater said all roles require singing, dancing and movement. Proportional pay and some housing available for out-of-town talent. Artists must be 16 to audition.

The production is scheduled to open Thanksgiving weekend and will run Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., and Sundays at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. through December 11. Tickets will be on sale from October 1 on: GhostLightBH.com.
