The event takes place in the Sault Ste. Marie Museum on October 11

The Sault Ste. Marie Musem will welcome local author Mike Sauve for an evening of discussion before the launch of his latest book, The many fentanyl-addicted ghosts of Sault Sainte Marie.

“The goal of the event is to have a broad discussion about the factors that led to the opioid crisis locally and what can be done to lessen its impact in the future,” the statement read.
